August The amount raised by attending shows this year has been very disappointing, in addition a number of shows have been cancelled and two events which in the past have raised large sums for us are not taking place this year. At the time of writing our funds for the first time ever are at rock bottom and the shelter is full as are our foster homes. The vets bills in respect of the abandoned two day old kittens (mentioned in the last months newsflash) have been very high and we are sad to say that of the eight only three have survived. Given our financial situation and the need to make sure we can look after the all the cats and kittens in our care we will have to close units as we re home the cats until we see an improvement in our funds.
