The charity operates mainly in north Northumberland, is based in Coquetdale and runs a purpose built rescue shelter (see picture below) near Longframlington. It is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, taking in lost, unwanted, cruelly treated and abandoned cats and kittens, nursing them back to health and finding loving homes for them. We also trap feral and semi feral cats, neuter and spay them and release them back in their home territory, thus stopping the build up of nuisance colonies of animals. There is a constant demand for our services, indeed we have never been able to raise sufficient funds to meet all the requests for help we receive. The money needed to run the charity comes from fundraising events and donations from our supporters.
If you would like to give a home to a cat or kitten please see our resident’s page where you will find details of some of the animals looking for a loving home. Your support by volunteering or financial, is always welcome. If you would like to help, please read the how you can support us page you will also find a link on that page to enable you to make donations to us online..
